Does the rising temperature also cause the resistance to rise, like in a lamp, aswell as being designed to increase the resistance.

Great info, this really helps to understand why they would wire these in series in motor windings. We have really big motors driving our compressor where I work. In the summer time one particular motor overheats cause the ambient temps is so high. These things are wired in to help the motor from thermal damage. Where can I find one of those?

why does it go down before you even take it away
