Lemp Mansion is such a great place to visit. We’ve visited multiple times to eat there and finally spent the night a couple of years ago. By chance, we met a group of not-amateur paranormal investigators and got to hang out with them all night. The next year we went back and met them there again for another investigation. It was soooo cool. Nothing scary but definitely active.

There may have been an unknown physical family chemical imbalance that ran through the Lemps and family dynamics that we can't understand today. Perhaps there were secrets that we will never know. The only thing certain is that their story is a tragic one. I find it interesting that the one member that is the most tragic of all is the Lavender Lady, yet from lack of haunting tales, she seems to be the one person at peace.

I live in St. Louis and I’m a local musician… and I’ve done several gigs at the Lemp Mansion House and knowing the history of the place… it is quite an eerie experience… I went down toward the tunnel and it really gets eerie down there… 👻

My daughter spent the night with some friends at the Lemp Mansion. She said Williams office in particular gave her a sense of his presence. Given the tragic history of the Lemp family, it’s not surprising that the many deaths left their mark on the mansion.

I live in St Louis, know this story well, I have been there for a mystery dinner theater, nothing happened on the ground floor, but when 3 of us went to the upstairs bathroom, it was really cold, but nothing other than that, it was not winter time, it was in the spring or summer.

I also live by one of the Alswel estate or the William Lemp Estate, heard stories about it being haunted, but since it has always remained a private house don't know, the other building have been demolished. Believe it is still there, don't know if anyone lives there, but it is now in a gated community with beautiful homes surrounding it

I've lived in STL my whole life. In the mid-80's I had a friend whose mom was a paranormal investigator. She showed me pics she took at the Lemp Mansion that showed a headless ghost and another of an apparition that looked like one of the Lemp men that suicided in the mansion.
