My stand has always been the same about the V60 it is the Underground King of smartphones in 2020 when it was released and even presently 2022 name one thing that makes this device bad and I'll stop using it! And please don't talk about the 60 hertz display that is not a con🤣🤣🤣. Or name something that is missing from this device that's relevant to smartphones presently because even today there are a whole lot of features missing from these smartphones?

I've had my quirks with LG in the past. I've definitely learned to appreciate LG, respect the reliability, and solid functionality of the LG V60. Still a great device, and one of my favorite.

Its insane bro, my v60 still retains the battery. They never nerfed it or just sourced the best lithium.. Its pretty wild.. Sad LG stopped making phones.

Also side note I heard from somebody reliable who was directly involved with LG's mobile division that they were very close to just giving it one more shot because the next version of the phone was going to be not only everything the LG v60 is but it was going to incorporate a high refresh an extra camera even better battery and it was probably going to be somewhat of a hybrid between the velvet and v60. The general consensus was give it one more shot with one insane device and one incredible mid-tier and leave it at that and see what happens

Truth be told, many smartphones built in 2020 or 2021 meet most of our needs. It isn't always necessary to upgrade a device if it isn't needed. The LG V60 is one such device. I had mine in the box unused for almost two years. Saw one of your videos, pulled my practically new V60 out of the box, reset it, downloaded Android 13 and updated it and now I use it as my second phone. It has performed flawlessly over the last 3 weeks. Thank you Tech Preacher for your advice.

I've been using V series phones for over 5 years now and just bought a used v60 for only 150 bucks to replace my v50, on which the only fault over 3 years of use was a relatively small dead strip on the touchscreen digitizer. If there's a better deal in the smartphone world right now, I haven't heard of it. They just tick all the boxes, remember that these were FLAGSHIP phones. The headphone jack with beefed up audio hardware behind it already makes it hands down better than any of today's contrivances from Apple or Samsung. I'll probably look for a like new or new example to buy and hold onto if/when this one breaks. They're THAT good.

I actually upgraded from the LG V60 to the S22 Ultra 256gb at launch. And although it's a better phone "on paper", I don't feel like I really upgraded. The V60 does just about everything my S22 Ultra does. The only issues I had with my V60 was the phone shutting down and not being able to power it back on for several minutes and problems with the USB type C charging port.

I still have my V60 on android 10 (hiding behind the couch!). Been ignoring the upgrades for 2 years. No performance hiccups at all, so...
But I agree with all the positive things mentioned on the video as I use my phone in the same fashion and multi-tasking on about almost every usage except when I'm on a call with the case closed. One thing that never heard mentioned on these videos, but I noticed that it has very strong WiFi reception way far from the source and it's super quick to sync bluetooth.

Oh, by the way, I only do it when I forget to turn on Bluetooth in the car, but when I have a call that I can't ignore I open the case, pickup the call, turn on loud speaker, fold the case open and "clip" it on the seatbelt with the secondary screen against my upper chest. It has good mic, doesn't slide and I'm not holding my phone while driving, LOL!

Using my V50 and V60 everyday, I had the V50 for over 2 years and still working like new. V60 is like a S22 for less then 1/4 the price

Preach it, Bro!! I just brought my LG v60 on line with ATT because it's an unlocked phone that isn't REALLY unlocked, so I'm in a monthly pay plan for 2 months so I can unlock it correctly. Having said that, I COULDN'T WAIT to get this party started!!! I'm coming up from my v30 that is FINALLY starting to slow down and couldn't stand having my v60 on the sidelines, waiting! And I'm running Android 13 now, so I'm set!! Thank you for another excellent post!! 🙏🙏

Just for those who have issues with LG updates, I have received security patch for September for my lg V600AM. So kudos to lg for keeping up there promise. I am one who has no doubts about the coming of android 13 for the LG models noted to receive them.

Best phone ever. I had the lg5 whuch was a pion2 of flagship phones. The lgv60 was another pioneer. First phone to have c charge, pop out battery, dual cam. Then lgv60 first dual screen best video eva seen in my life 5000 battery.

Please Im begging LG to make the v series phone. They are so much better then any other phone

I got lucky. On Facebook marketplace I bought a LG V60 phone unlocked with the dual case for only 200 bucks.

Great video good to still see videos on LG phones. It's crazy how this 2020 phone has features that newer phones don't have like a headphone jack & micro sd card support.

I will be keeping this LG V60 for as long as I can ...I like the phone a lot it just meet my needs with ease ...the quad dac headphone jack is something special to me ... If you stream music on tidal master turn on the quad dac and 3D engine and then plug in a nice headphone from sennheiser, hifiman or even Philips Fidelio series...Good Lord .... It sounds so amazing! With expandable storage you can store so much music catalog...I'm definitely keeping this as my music phone...but becos software and firmware update will eventually stop I'll use other phones for my daily driver and keep this phone as my music device ...this phone has so much value for the price ... If you want a flagship device and you on a budget this is a no brainer ...Get this instead of a mid range phone ..it would be one of the wisest decisions you ever made ...no mid range phone with even latest features in 2022 can touch the flagship and premium feel of this phone ... And they cost more compared to what you can get this LG V60 for .... I highly recommend this phone even if you not on a budget but don't like to spend much money on phones even in 2023/2024.
I wish LG continued making phones ...maybe just high tier mid rangers and leave the flagship scene for the Samsung and Xiaomi et el... till they can figure out a better marketing strategy instead of closing up the phones unit altogether...it's quite sad ...hope maybe they make a come back ...
