How to Tame a Parasaur | Updated ARK Guide |

It has been over 5 years since I posted my old guide for taming a parasaur in Ark Survival Evolved. Things have changed and I am happy to present my new guide for easily getting yourself one of these underrated dinos!

This video will show you all the basic info you need to tame your first parasaur in ARK: Survival Evolved. I will show you how to use a bola to snare a parasaur and how club it into unconsciousness with a wooden club. I will also show you what you need to craft a parasaur saddle and show you all of the mechanics that are involved with taming.

I have alpha ascended the island, been part of 2 different alpha tribes, beaten most bosses on at least gamma, and am currently attempting a single player ultimate ark challenge. For those that cant get there dino to eat and tame its because dino food drain option set to zero causing it not to eat. Took me 2 days to figure it out

I can’t imaging what it’s like for someone to just now start playing ark for the first time i remember playing before any story half the dinosaurs and no tek I thought tek was a dumb idea at first but now it’s pretty much the whole story of the game

Truly the most challenging tame in ark. Many have gone mad attempting it....on a serious note do hover over ur downed parasaur less a dilo or rapter spawn in and eat it while u are not looking.

You have the best Ark videos on YouTube. My Wife and I just started Ark a little while ago and really enjoy checking out your vids when we get stuck. We love how your vids are quick, accurate, not bloated and you speak clearly (most important for me).

My only comment would be that it would be really nice if your Ark vids were decided up into Playlist based on DLC to make them easier to find.

This is how my Ark experience has been going so far

I spawn in, kill a few Dodos but I don’t have a campfire so the meat gets spoiled, I kill a few Dilos because they won’t leave me alone and that goes fine, then I try to cross some water and get eaten alive by Piranhas

Respawn, I get to work building a base and resort to berries for food, things going well so far as I manage to get a campfire set up and begin hunting Dilos and Dodos for food, walk maybe two steps away from my hut and I immediately get taken out by an Alpha Raptor, I have to then die a second time to keep the Alpha Raptor distracted while I gather my things and make a run for it to a safer area

I make it to a safer area and start setting up a new base in the Western spawn point, not a bad place as the cliff my base is being built on is right next to a water source, meaning I can just go down the cliff if I need anything (I’m still learning so things like irrigation are gonna be something I will learn later on), I die several times to the exact same Titanoboa because every time I get my stuff back and look for it, it catches me by surprise, but I finally managed to kill it with a bow and arrows

My experience so far has been a difficult one, but an enjoyable one as well

I juss started Ark with no guides a few days ago Basically spent 3 real days trying and trying to get in land but I keep getting surprised by a pissed off raptor.. 😂 so far your videos are really understandable to newcomers to the ark. Subbed and definitely using your guides. I only have a Dodo named Roger who will hopefully one day make me an general of an army of dodos. Thanks 🤟
