Bert Kaempfert - We can make it girl

A presentation I made inspired by Bert Kaempfert's "We can make it girl". This composition can be found on Bert's original album entitled "The Kaempfert touch" which was released in 1970. If you like the melody then please also look for the vocal interpretation by Malcolm Roberts, which can be found on the net. As was often the case with Kaempfert compositions, Malcolm scored a pretty good hit with this song nearly equalling the success he had with "Love is all" ( a Les Reed composition).

Su inagotable inspiración, al lado de Herbert Rehbein, fue la clave de un prestigio y renombre que perdurará por décadas, como uno de los mejores compositores del siglo XX, junto a varios otros directores que marcaron huella en el amplio catálogo de la música brillante, como fueron Max Greger, Ray Conniff, James Last, Werner Muller, Helmut Zacharias, Kurt Edelhagen y muchos otros que serían imposibles de recordar en su totalidad, no por falta de méritos sino porque más de uno se me quedaría en el camino.

The Kaempfert Touch fromn which this song is taken won an award for musical production as best non classical album. Kaempfert's albums still stand to this day as beautifully produced (usually by Milt Gabler or BK himself) and engineered (by Peter Klempt). This was one of the great "pop" orchestras and Kaempfert and his writing and arranging partner Herbert Rehbein were masters of their trade.

Olá Socratess,
Belíssimas as músicas de Bert Kaempfert; na verdade faz pouquíssimo tempo que comecei a prestar atenção nelas, porque o meu foco estava mais direcionado para as orquestras de Franck Pourcel, Paul Mauriat e Billy Vaughn entre outras. Foi uma surpresa muito agradável verificar que as músicas dessa orquestra se encaixam no estilo daquelas que eu gosto. Devo dizer também que o seu trabalho é excelente, a junção de músicas sensacionais com vídeos maravilhosos (deliciosas mulheres, bichinhos adoráveis e paisagens extasiantes). Grato.
