Damn it's wild that I've been watching these lists for well over 10 years now. How time flies folks

Your honesty, lack of pretentiousness, unapologetic nerdiness, and simple love of movies come across in each and every video. THAT is why I keep checking back in to see what you think.

And, as a bonus, your tastes match mine nearly perfectly. I don't go see a movie until it has at least a "Good Time If You're Drunk" from you, Jeremy. Here's hoping you continue for many more years to come. Thank YOU for all you've done.

Not surprised to see Keanu himself calling John Wick 4 the best movie of 2023!

I started watching Jeremy when I was 21... now I'm entering the 30s and I still love his videos. This guy is precious and original 🥺.

You were my first ever subscription in 2012 Jeremy. You’ve got me through middle school, high school and college. Now at 25 years old I look back and you really showed me the way with your passion in video games and movies. Please never stop brother.

Thank you Jeremy, I’m 28 years old and for 15 years of my life I grew up watching your reviews. Thank you so much for all you’ve done.

I've been watching you do these movie reviews for us since before you had the beard LOL. It's not an exaggeration to say you are possibly my most trusted movie reviewer. You always give us your honest opinion, with no grifting. Have an excellent 2024 Jeremy, keep being you!

My top 2 this year would be 'Oppenheimer' and 'Godzilla Minus One'. I feel like 'Oppenheimer' was a movie going experience. Seeing it in IMAX with a 100% booked theater is one of those "wow" moments for a movie. The last movie I went to where it was that packed and they booked extra screens for one movie was 'Avengers: Endgame'. Movies like that are just so damn fun because it becomes an event like going to a concert or sporting event. And then there's 'Godzilla Minus One' which I thought looked pretty good in the trailers, but my goodness I did not expect it to be THAT good. It's one of those monster/disaster movies which does lean more heavily on the human element...but it makes everyone feel real. This isn't like a 'Transformers' movie where the humans have some boring, self-absorbed side quest. When we saw Godzilla we saw the scariest version yet. And the film built up the fact that even though Godzilla itself was scary it's the loss of those you live with that is the most devastating thing anyone can experience and the feeling of constantly being knocked down and unable to rebuild/go on with normal lives. So yeah...I'm saying Godzilla is my movie of the year. Phenomenal movie.

Godzilla Minus One was the biggest shock for me. Wasn't expecting anything from this, but it was brilliant. Even the score felt so old school like those 60's monster films, did it in such a good way. But yes, John Wick 4 was a masterclass in filmmaking. The camera work, the cinematography, it was brilliant to watch.

Thanks for including Michael J. Fox's documentary, Jeremy. Itwas so emotional, and it was fantastic to see Michael break down his career and Parkinson's Diagnosis.

Godzilla Minus One is to 2023 what Top Gun Maverick was to 2022. What an unexpected masterpiece.

Crazy to think it's been 15 years already. The thing I love about the channel is that nothing has really changed. I watch a video, and I'm instantly transported back to the Wild West days of YouTube before there was money in it. 2009 was a much different experience than today.

I’ve been watching your videos since I was 12 with my dad. I’m now 18 and still watch, my dad only watches movies after asking “what did Jeremy think?” And he goes based on your rating. Thank you for everything Jeremy Much love 🙏

For me, I’ve been watching YouTube content for 10-11 years now and channels come and go, but this channel has been one of the only ones that I’ve come back for every review. Thank you so much for another great year of reviews Jeremy. All the best Jeremy and on to 2024 and another great year of reviews 🙌

What most people are surprised by is that the first two Godzilla movies were made as serious movies. They were not supposed to be cheesy kid friendly fun. As a life long fan of Godzilla it's awesome to see the serious Godzilla back, and to see new people discover what Godzilla movies can be

Godzilla Minus One should definitely be on everyone’s Top 3 list. Thank you Jeremy for acknowledging greatness!

I really love that Jeremy takes every opportunity to show gratitude for people who have made this channel successful for so long. That thank-you video he did at the end of 2020 was a great example. This type of content really might not work for everyone, which makes it harder to be noticed in an ever-growing platform. I've been watching these reviews for close to 10 years now and loved every second of them. Keep being awesometacular!

I'm still shocked how fantastic and a master piece that Godzilla minus One was this year. The human story was just done right, made you root for the hero and the monster at the same time.

Strange how time flies, I remember watching the Book of Eli review for your audition for LTA and thats what put me on to your channel. Been here ever since. Thank you for your honesty and sincerity, for not caving into what the internet wants you to say about a movie. Even though I am inclined to disagree comparatively with how I feel about some movies, you've kept it real since day one and there is no other YouTube reviewer I trust or feel a connection to more than you, sir. Cheers to another year!
