What fascinates me about this is I've seen room sized mechanical music boxes at The House on the Rock and they definitely have a sort of lifeless drone even though they are based on traditional musical instruments. These moppy things create music that actually has a warmth to the interpretation of the songs.

This has got to be THE coolest thing I've ever seen done with computer parts!!! I saw this on Huffington Post, and I couldn't stop smiling and jaw-dropping while watching it. lol I love the song, and I love what you did with the disc drives! :) I'd never seen anything like this before. But now that I'm seeing it here, I'm seeing a bunch of links to other videos where other people did something similar. lol How in the world have I missed something like this on YouTube?? lol Great job! Those drives must be vibrating fiercely to get that sweet baseline. I wonder if warranty covers this sort of thing, hmmmm.
