Thoroughly enjoying your videos. My English friends think I’m crazy for wanting to visit Blackpool; for me, it’s all about Blackpool’s history and marvelling the Victorian architecture. I can’t wait to walk North Pier, get some fish and chips, sit on the promenade and simply soak in the moment of where I am and what I am seeing. I lived in Blackpool at Chesterfield Road in the 70s..and nice to see that there are many changes in the town centre. Missed the pleasure Beach..a lovely video

my nan worked in the fruit stall of Abingdon Street Market, I can almost smell the place now...it was such fun going with her in the 70's

Its a shame Steve, but Blackpool for all the hard work done by the council, still lacks investment, some parts of the town are really run down, and some are just eyesores. It does look nice on a lovely sunny morning, nice and quiet, before the rogues appear. We need to get Blackpool back on top, it was a tremendous family resort, but the last 10-15 years the weekenders take over and spoil things for locals and visiting families.
