We dedicate the show to remembering Malcolm X on what would have been his 98th birthday Friday. We begin with an address by world-renowned abolitionist, author and activist Angela Davis on Malcolm's legacy, attacks on the teaching of Black history by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and more. "This is a time to reflect deeply on the long struggle for liberation," Davis said. "And Malcolm asked us to keep our eyes on the future, future worlds, radical democratic futures for all beings who inhabit this planet."

I had the privilege as an alaskan Inupiaq to attend a lecture by her in Fairbanks, Alaska; late 70's she still is sharp as a tack in her eloquence and poignant disertation of of how to sanely go forward with purpose of helping make the world a better place 4 everyone collectively...

Angela, you are very special, you have given your life to speak up for the disenfranchised of this world and for that you have my love and respect. 1965 the year I was born, I came across you in the 80s some years after ' Malcolm's death, you and others educated me and made me more aware of our world, being white I did not experience your struggle or that of native Americans, Palestinians etc, but for what it's worth I stand by you in your fight against injustice ... all the best from the U.K !

Every problem deserves a solution. That's why we stay in the struggle. X's example for all of us who have come after him teaches us not to give up the fight.

Democracy Now is absolutely the straight-to-the-point informational news that we need on television and in radio daily instead of what we currently have to watch and listen to. You provide world wide information to keep us informed. I thank you again and again for your coverage on all things important and meaningful to me ❤❤❤.

This is a needed conversation. As Thomas has been bought by Crowe to support fascism the movement has a harder task to remain Righteous in the face of greed that lures and corrupts. Malcolm X had so much insight into our shared reality. The struggle continues, each heart must be searched for the needed gumption.
