I watched the movie last night & Steven Caple Jr. nearly gave me a heart attack with that reveal, I actually couldn't speak for about 10 minutes, I freaking loved the hell out of this movie (also Bumblebee jumping out of Stratosphere is probably my favorite scene)

Yeah I agree what made this iteration a stand out is that the military is not at the forefront of the battle. Whereas in the Bayverse the U.S. Military is glorified but here human intervention is kept at a minimal. It's all about the Autobots. I hope they keep this formula going.

Gotta say that ending was the most crazy surprise I can remember from a movie. I had absolutely no inkling that we would get that crossover. Seemed as odd as a Fast and Furious/Jurassic Park crossover lol

I remember growing up with Beast Wars and have loved the Maximals ever since. They’re probably my favorite if I’m being honest, and to hear Optimus Primal tell Cheetor and Rhinox to “maximize” gave me goosebumps. This was a fun movie

I’ve always loved the idea that there was a unification on Cybertron after the Autobots/Decepticons left. Unicron, in a turn of events convinces them that their planet will be spared and in turn, the robots of Cybertron help him discover planets to devour. Simple concept I know.

Maybe its time for a Transformers movie just about the bots. A time of how they became to be, then one when war breaks out, and the last one being on how they get to earth. Things that they have teased in other movies. Movies without the human element. And as a bonus they can all be in CGI so they can pretty much do anything and go all out. These movies would break box office records for sure.

I thought there was still too much focus on the humans in this movie. It felt more like a Michael Bay era film than what we had with Bumblebee. The crossover or shared universe setup was a shock, though. I hope Hasbro gets it right, and also that they bring John Cena's character back from Bumblebee to be Duke or Hawk for the GI Joe side.

Whoever came up with the name "Optimus Primal" for the gorilla, deserves a raise and percentage of the box office earnings. Absolutely genius

One other note about Diaz's suit. It also resembles another suit used in GI Joe: Rise of Cobra. Remember Duke and Ripcord use similar looking suits in Paris. Not only do we have the card/business offer. But that suit might be the prototype for the suits in that movie. This movie is set in 1994. Rise of Cobra is set in 2009.

This movie had me extremely hyped at the end, when bee comes back I was literally getting chills, I watched it at night but I had to go hit a workout once I finished it because it was the closest I’ll get to exchanging blows with a giant robot

Anyone else who got excited when Optimus Primal said something like "I am optimus Primal, named after you. We are both from your past and your future" and Optimus Prime was like "Ok..." andno one else questioned or probed on that statement!! They just left it hanging there??

I’m not even kidding I was in the car after the movie surprised about that ending and then it hit me, they are setting up the HCU (Hasbro Cinematic Universe) I love how nerds can think about the exact same things!

I just watched this movie and it is absolutely insane! The effects, the contrast in the details. All the characters and the comedy. It's so good, definitely top 3 best of the transformers movies. 10/10.

Edit~ just wanna say for the ppl saying it was trash or it wasn't good, that's your opinion. But don't go saying it's trash or its horrible, that's rude to say especially since these people worked hard on this movie. Some of yall need to learn how to respect people who put lots of effort into things. Grow up, you're embarrassing yourself.
