I think it all boils down to personal insecurities and how they are manifested.

Jaks I think this is one of the best videos I have seen, not just from you but from anyone on YouTube. I'm a professional counselor and I would hope that every teacher or counselor would adopt your philosophy here. Of course if that were to happen, there would far less people killing themselves. Thank you so much. Please keep up the good work...Ray

What stops a man from doing both masculine and feminine?

Something I've recently realized, not revolutionary.

But, it comes down to Eleanor Roosevelt's quote, "Remember no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

I think it's less about self-confidence and more about the fact that you realize that most people who verbally attack you are insecure.

That's it. So their opinion doesn't matter. They lack the confidence to be themselves, in some capacity. So they lash out at those who can and do.

I'm not saying it doesn't suck or they're justified. Just that you can't care.

You determine your self-worth and value. No one else.

Granted, this is a general view of the idea. Obviously, there are those who genuinely hate.

But, for the most part, even hatred stems from insecurity.

So, to your point, ya have a type, preference, whatever. But, don't be a pick me.

It's not showing your "allegiance." it's just showing how insecure you are and desperate you are for external validation and approval.

Since we are all “ageless” I’m saying it this way, this body is 59 and I am finding out that there are many young men who are very caring and adoring of older men like myself. Much respect to young men who can traffic in all peoples worlds. As well as older men like myself respecting young men is much appreciated by everyone. Objectifying either category is sometimes a stumbling block. We can learn from each other. When I was younger, there was the telephone, phone booths and that was it. No apps, no cell or wrist phones. I was told by my parents that we are not buying a game set for you to sit and veg out on the tv. We were made to go outside on purpose. Definitely two different ways of living life. We are slowly losing the “out and about” being with people in general. Being connected physically brings intimacy to being related as a human being.

Another great video. Wise words - very wise words. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Obviously, I completely agree with you. But you say things so well and with such sincerity. Thanks.

Some valid points but I love Britney and I’m not fem… I’m inbetween!

It’s okay to be masc, & it’s okay to be femme :) Just as long as you’re not mean to others along the way because they present themselves as more masc or more femme than you do. I feel I have a good balance of both, kinda in that grey area. I was an aircraft mechanic in the air force, shot guns, grew up in a small west texas city, raised in a conservative lifestyle. Now Im a hairstylist/aesthetician with many talented friends & I love brunch!!😂

It's heartbreaking when one faction of a group demeans another faction when they are in fact both members of the same marginalized group. Inclusivity is an elusive commodity when we are taking into consideration our own prejudices. Even with the most liberal thinking of us we still catch ourselves making value judgements based on gender, race, national origin, affluency or even how many followers they may have on social media. Our thought processes about inclusivity not only hinge on how we were raised, our environment and, of late, the power of the "influencers" and their "don't look behind that curtain" sponsors.

Ive never had a problem with femme guys, and I find some very attractive really.
My problem is more so the histrionics that come with them, typically (obviously not always and certainly not all of femme guys, but there is a pattern), which I dislike at the best of times.
Attention seeking, from anyone, is... vexing to me.

Preach! Drag is not my thing, but I certainly enjoy watching the queens. I was very good friends with a very fem dude back in the 80's - he was an awesome friend.

somehow both sides sometimes attract to each other even when they hate each other, like a guilty pleasure, and its so toxic to not be genuine of what u like just because of being judged, and kinda unfair

Good morning, my friend, very good topic very good point very valid points!
Before I came out personally I did have my prejudice over the feminine side. I’m not guilty, but I also wasn’t one to verbally abuse and pick on these people. It was just a personal view hence coming out I got a couple friends that they happen to be very feminine. I don’t judge you I mean they’re great people super people, my choice is somebody that’s not so flamboyant little bit more on the mask on side I can I can accept that not a problem. It’s all about the person what you get out of them physical attraction and emotional attraction. They got a play in there does the person complement you in anyway, what does that person do for you as far as emotional support physical support love care compassion all that stuff has to be weighed. All that is part of it now I don’t know why people have to put people down. I mean, I know it’s all about that dominance and and the alpha side of people and it’s the ugly side of people, there’s nothing beautiful about it. There’s nothing pretty about it so I support your 100%.

You do appreciate the irony that your video is about the kinds of people and behaviors you don’t like?
