I saw FF live the other year and it was one of the best shows i’ve ever gone to. I’m not a huge fan of their newer albums, but they’re defo worth seeing no matter what

I think this albums is excellent. Really their whole catalog is quite impressive and consistent. Still like you could have it so much better vs RTRWRA is my fav

I've been a huge fan of Franz Ferdinand for a long time, probably my favorite band because of how awesome the first 3 records were. This album is just kinda okay to me honestly. I'm more a fan of the songs that sound more like older Franz songs on this album, like Night or Day or Build It Up. I think I kinda hate Hooked because it just feels soulless and like lead singer Alex Kapranos is doing some sorta Tame Impala/Nine Inch Nails thing. Any song that has more keyboard than guitar here just doesn't work for me.
