Ugh, I’ve missed shooting with Fuji since my time spent using the X-T1 through T3... I’ve been contemplating selling the R5 and R6 and going back entirely to Fuji with the GFX 100s and X-T4 but I’m just nervous about having 2 mounts, and Canon is amazing too. But there’s something to be said about using a camera that motivates you to create right? I used to carry the Fuji with me everywhere, but not so much with the canon cameras, but maybe that’s just a product of the times were in? Okay long rant over 😂

Sick camera, did you use a reflector or flash? I see some light in her eyes! Good job!

I'll get this camera when I become a truly professional, in 100 years.

I’ve been out the loop with MF for a while and recently I’ve been looking at the X2D Hasselblad MF but didn’t realize that Fuji had this GFX 100s for less than the X2D and has beautiful images that I’m totally blown away with.. I really want it.
I now for a sometime slow down with my studio portraits and moved away from action or outdoors portraits so composing mapping, taking my time and getting 102mega bite is the key.
Do t need the speed just the quality Images.
Thank you for your review and taken those beautiful stunning pictures.

hello... very beautiful video... one question... how LightRoom responds with the 102 mega pixel photos in raw format due to the weight of its files...? you can work without problems..?

As a (fmr) LONGTIME medium format shooter....what grabbed my attention was, how SMALL the form factor is! Wow. I don't miss the heft of Hasselblads at all. The only downer with this make/model of camera is....the demands upon the rest of your workflow: the files are HUGE. As is the need for storage.

Unfair review, it was the beautiful model who makes the photo!

I personally love owning and shooting on a Phase One over a mirrorless MF, but that's because I like being forced to slow down when shooting, and I like the feel of larger camera bodies more (this is why I still shoot on a DSLR). Not to mention that the digital backs offer you a full 645 MF sensor; whereas, the current mirrorless MF cameras are crop sensor full-frames. There are some advantages to a full-frame MF over the crop sensor. While not sensor or camera body type related, I also love my leaf shutter lenses. But those are my personal opinions.

Capture One should be able to view and edit the RAW files (=GFX 100).
Shooting at 50 MP isn't a real test of a 102 MP camera.

Thanks for the vid. Always entertaining and educating and never condescending. A fine balance. Great model too!

With crop factor isn’t that lens essentially a 50mm f1.4? Not trashing it at all, I’m sure it’s wonderful, it’s just not beating full-frame in terms of shallow DOF.

Amazing model and I love that you talk about composition and your approach as you shoot and explain it.

Actually, the people that made the films are probably retired, but the young blood programing the film filters are pretty much the closest they could do 🤷🏻‍♂️
