easyJet Airbus A320 Sharklets Martinair MD11 powerful takeoff BA Embraer Winglets & Sharklets

Filmed in February 2014 at London Stansted Airport, this video begins with a Thomson Airways Boeing 757 landing in very windy conditions, followed by Martinair MD-11 very powerful takeoff, speaking of powerful takeoffs check out the short takeoff roll of the easyJet Airbus A320 with sharklets - this is the first time I've seen an Airbus with Sharklets. Also one of the diversions from London City Airport was BA Cityflyer Embraer E170, it's like a rocket! I hope you enjoy until the next video.

Awesome as always, that looked very windy! I'm not sure if I like the A320 with sharklets, they seem to overpower the subtle shape of the aircraft - they suit the 737 better I think because of its sleeker, pointier shape.

Brilliant video and great camera work very smooth!!! No wonder BAs embraer fleet are based in london city with the small runway that took off very quickly they are so quiet and are my favourite aircraft type only saw one FlyBe EMB-195 at the flight fest

Very good Dave as always! The easyJet sharklet footage is especially nice to see. Would you believe that the Embraer 190s are even more rocket like on departure than the E170. I've seen an E190 get airborne in less than 600 metres!

Surprising to see a Thomson 787 at the gate. Didn't think Thomson operated the 787 out of STN?
