I own many Samsung devices, s24 ultra, 3 different versions of Samsung earbuds, 3 of their different galaxy watches, a Samsung stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer. I am an IT professional that pays very close attention to technology and after Steve Jobs passed away Apple under Tim Cook stopped innovating and decided they would never change the shape of their phones ever again. Instead of bringing a newly designed phone that created massive excitement causing people to once again camp outside of the Apple store overnight just for the chance to purchase one. Yes this happened every years! This excitement that people around the world felt no longer exists for the Apple brand. Every year the iPhone is now nearly the exact same device as the previous 10 versions. The only change is a new processor and a slightly better camera. It's actually despicable behavior by apple exploiting brand loyalty!! The reason i am telling this story is because once Apple stopped innovating, I stopped purchasing apple products, and now that Samsung is doing the exact same thing with their products i will not buy another Samsung product!! . The original z fold was a great a folding product! Once they created this product many other companies began designing and creating foldable devices. Instead of Samsung understanding they had competitors looking to create a better product and take their business Samsung continue making the fold 5 and 6 without attempting to refine the product and using 5 year old camera camera tech! Suddenly people who love technology suddenly see articles about oneplus, Oppo, vivo creating devices that was so much more innovative hardware and software wise that it should have been humiliating for Samsung!! My guess is this is why Samsung did the open letter. The front screen size on the fold is absolutely ridiculous on the Samsung foldable. The craziest part is Samsung actually had to manufacture that strange specific main screen size for the Z fold while they had many normal devices they had the perfect cover screen size!! The American people spend hundreds of millions of dollars buying tech but Samsung, Apple and Google understand in many cases if an American wanted to buy a folding device there are only options would be the Google pixel fold or the Samsung Z fold !! In a sick way because of the carriers being partnered with Samsung and Google, American Tech consumers are trapped!! Samsung, Google and Apple don't really have to innovate !! Imagine providing a product that you know was one of the only options !! Would you simply sit back collect your millions of dollars or would you take some pride in your company/product knowing your competitors product was far Superior and create a product that was better than the competitions? Apple takes such advantage of their brand blinded consumers which allows Apple to ignores one of the fastest growing Tech space in the foldable phones. Tim Cook ended up being a horrible choice after Steve Jobs passed away!! Steve Jobs focused heavily on Aesthetics and design and apple simply says we don't need to invest any money into tooling if we keep the identical and materials in our devices.. we can simply change the color move a button and people will buy it like it's a brand new product! We simply sit back make billions of dollars and our consumers won't care and won't know the difference!! Samsung has taken advantage of American consumers for years and instead of offering an actual new innovative foldable to the American people Samsung creates the fold SE and doesn't make any effort to offer the products for sale to the American people they have been taking advantage of! Google creates a foldable device Fold 9 pro utilizing an absolute subpar home grown processor, old camera tech and a main screen with a giant hing on the left side along with main screen bezels that are the size of an 90s flip phone!!! Once again, every one of these companies have made themselves billions of dollars off of the backs of Americabs whether it's selling the American people's data and then after selling the American people's data giving them nothing in return they then sell Americans their electronics. Instead of the American people being rewarded with the latest and greatest technology, fastest processors and best software experience they are handed dated subpar products while companies like honor, Vivo, xiaomi, oppo/oneplus have literally generationally leaped Samsung Google and Apple with their devices!! Apple Samsung and Google are fully aware that Chinese products are more difficult for the American people to purchase, so Samsung Google and apple will continue taking advantage! It's truly despicable Behavior!! As someone that keeps a very close eye on Innovation and technology it's very disturbing to see Apple, Google and Samsung getting lapped over and over by the chinese brands! I hate to say it, but most everyday Americans that are not tech savvy would be shocked if they were allowed to see the Chinese products up close and personal!! Average everyday Americans what probably be amazed at how much better and more futuristic the Chinese products are! It's even worse when you realize that the United States doesn't manufacturer any high quality mobile devices inside the United States!!
