For those curious, is a great Metroidvania. Combat and exploration are above most of the genre, with enemy and area variety even competing with AAA titles. If you're into sprawling and complex Metroidvanias, this is it.

The main character’s animation looks great, but the enemy animations look awful. Hopefully they’re not that disparate later in development. Looks like something I’d enjoy playing, though.
