This one was a last minute acquisition that appeared locally to me. Follow me while go I hunting for arcade collectibles in this video series. I find a gem of a deal: A working Centipede arcade machine in decent shape for $120. I make the deal, take it home and clean her up!

Get yourself two pieces of plexi and some mirror mounting hardware and sandwich the backdoor sheet between the plexi and mount it back in place with the mirror brackets. Works great to preserve it.

Very nice Del! I had two since another one popped up for $50 and traded that for a Pole Position. Still have to cap the monitor in the one I still have

I say stick with the marquee you just put in there. I like the history that it has and it ties in well with the bezel. Besides, it’s not like the side art is perfect anyway. I like the character. Really cool video, excellent find and an even better project. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

Forgive my ignorance but in any restore videos I see, I never see anyone cleaning the PCB's they are often caked in dirt. Why is that?

You mentioned the neon green molding. Where do you get it? What size? 3/4?

Something I do. Give him the money and ask to take the board home with you.

I’ve been looking for the Willis control panel overlay, but haven’t found it. Where did you find it?

Edit: I jumped the gun. You mentioned TOG at the end of the video.

Is this your first time buying a game? No way to get it home, leaving game until tomorrow.
