Setting up Buzzer for CC3D and BetaFlight

A lost alarm is very useful on a FPV racer. I did this with my Taranis X9D+ transmitter, D4R-II receiver in PPM mode, for my Eachine Racer 250 that comes with a CC3D board. I have flashed it with BetaFlight, which has BP6 support. Does not work for CleanFlight as special modifications to the firmware is needed to support Beeper at Pin 6.

Hi, useful video!
I have X8R with SBUS conexion. Is it posible to connect the buzzer plug, directly (the 3 wires) to the receiver?
I suppose because de SBUS, the other 8 channels are invalidates, isn't it?

Hey Fyre. I just set up my Eachine following your video but the buzzer won't work. My beeper does have power and plays the initial startup pattern when I turn my quad on but after that the switch doesn't activate it and the beeper doesn't go off when the tX loses signal.

Do I have to specifically be on a version of betaflight that says BP6 or will all versions above that work? I'm on 2.4 and I do have the Beeper option in the Modes tab for Cleanflight but my betaflight .bin file does not say bp6.

the stock Discovery buzzer from HK is ready to connect to the cc3d like in the video? or is necesary modify the discovery buzzer?. other question is, i dont have a pdb like yours, so where do i disconnect the pin 6 ? i just have the cc3d

so on my ppm rx lemon 8ch, could i use power off the same location as your different rx, on mine the bind port is under the ppm port.would it work /not cause bind to start process
