Everyone I know a simple/free way to support Sean and the team at edibles acres.

Step 1 watch the first 60 seconds of the video
Step 2 repeat step 1
Step 3 repeat step 1.

This will take you 3 minutes but will really help them on the back end analytics/algorithm sending it out to other folks.

Auto-screening! Using chicken labor for turning, adding poop, scratching, and now sifting! Genius! Love how you make the chickens do your work and enrich their lives at the same time. As chicken TV so often is, fun, educational, and productive. ❤❤ Anne

Grateful for any cozy content like yours when so many are so desperate for any normalcy

Great idea. I also consider making the animals work for me while I work for them. 🙂 I went against lots of "knowledgeable" people when I put the chicken coop 10 feet from the house. Guess what? I have no need to mow any grass anymore; they kept the grass low and fertilized. 😂

Another brilliant idea!
Planning to make something similar out of hardware cloth so let the chickens do the sifting for me. Thanks for sharing and happy thanksgiving!

Very nice upgrade. I frequently used to see those wire shelves free for dumpster divers when I lived in Manhattan. I have an Edible Acres inspired chicken yard down here in Ecuador now, thank you for the videos.

Really appreciate these videos you post with your regular updates to your winter chicken composting system. Thanks to your inspiration we have set up a poly tunnel for our chooks using mostly free re-used items. As we live in an apple growing region I was able to get old large apple bins ( missing bottoms) to use along the inside length of the tunnel to hold foodwaste & fall leaves for the chooks to work on ( and also to hold large plant pots of worms so they have a warmer spot to overwinter.) Don’t think I am able to share a photo on here but I am pleased with it so far and our chooks are very happy to be in there rather than out in the first snowfall of the year. 🙂
Thank you for the inspiration!! My chooks thank you too.

I've really enjoyed watching your progression with chicken composting ideas. This is the third year I was hoping to have chickens. It still hasn't worked out, but I know when it finally happens, I will be ready!

Wow! i have been trying to figure out how to get my chickens to work for me instead of digging out all my seedlings. Their absolute favorite thing to do is spread dirt..I make a pile, they spread it. I never thought to have them sift the compost!!! Brillant!!!! Now to engineer the compost lean to space! I have a mountain for them to work through!

I learn so much from you! I am so excited to have chickens and compost. I have been shredding tons of paper and cardboard to use because where I am moving in GA, there aren’t many leaves - mostly pines.

Love this improvement! I definitely know what im doing with the 10'x20' carport frame my dad gave me last sunmer. Lol. Ill but it up to the end of my existing coop. How well does the carport and plastic handle the snow?

I think you said you get some produce from local grocery stores for your compost.... Do you care if its organic or not? And wondering if you or any fellow followers could direct me to information or tests showing how much chemicals are found in compost using organic vs. non organic? Thanks for another great video! Blessings!
