I find it interesting to look back into Toby's older music, like a timeline of all the sounds and tunes he's used since he started out. It really makes you wonder how far back some of the songs and sound effects we most commonly asosiate with Undertale really go.

i think it's kind of funny how undertale's demo (which uses the laugh) was being developed at the same time as this song was being composed. they're actually only months between each other. i assume toby just really liked this sound effect at the time.

GOD is that transition from the flute in the beginning to the distorted guitar sexy as all hell.
edit: and so is the part near the middle with the harp. whoever made this track is really good at blending clean instrumentals with distorted ones.

THIS IS AMAZING. I HAVE BEEN A FAN OF HOMESTUCK FOR SO MANY YEARS AND I HAVEN'T HEARD THIS UNTIL NOW AND I'M FREAKING OUT(in a good way) BECAUSE TOBY FOX USED FLOWEY'S LAUGHTER IN THIS BEFORE HE MADE UNDERTALE AND FOR SOME REASON THAT IS AMAZING
