Hello! and welcome to Western Australia. Thank you for sharing your beautiful highlights of Rottnest Island. So happy to see you both enjoying our beaches. Some fun facts. There are a few hidden treasures. - Deep beneath the ocean, in waters west of Rottnest Island, lies a treasure trove of scuttled ships, military vehicles and abandoned aircraft.

It's been a cold, wintery week in Perth, and I miss rotto like crazy tonight. Haven't been there for years. You guys captured it beautifully.

Good to see a video of you guys cycling anti clockwise. I did clockwise two days ago when over in Perth, so a slightly diff perspective. Absolutely loved Perth and Rotto was the highlight on my last day!

Great video, you can easily spend a week there and not get bored. The island also has a lot of historical sites that are worth seeing such as the defence bunker from WW2 .

We did the day trip to Rotto last year from Perth with bikes last year, had an awesome day. However, those bikes left our butts in rage after cycling around the island!

I always found wind on Fremantle beach so tiring at this time of year and the waves enormous for lazy swimming

Great video work, really enjoyable. Did you know just a few Km of shore is the beginning of the Perth trench. This massive trench starts off at 600 meters deep and shaped like a huge dinosaur it's the size of the Grand canyon. It is a major feeding ground for blue, humpback and Southern Wright whales and of course a popular hangout for great whites and tiger sharks plus many other species, even the occasional killer whales. Great deep sea fishing too. Really pleased you enjoyed it.
