What is a Spectrum Analyzer | How Does a Spectrum Analyzer Work

Показать описание
Spectrum analyzers are import pieces of test instrumentation for testing radio frequency circuits and systems. This video describes what spectrum analyzers are, it looks at the different types of analyzer including superheterodyne or swept analysers as well as FFT spectrum analyzers, realtime or real time spectrum analyzers. The video describes how these spectrum analyzers work and looks at their relative attributes so you can choose the best type for your test needs. With these test instruments being used to look at RF signals in the frequency domain, it shows how they can be used to look at signal spectra, and locate unwanted signals or spurious RF signals.

The video also looks at various formats of spectrum analyzer including the rack or box mounted spectrum analyzers, USB spectrum analyzers, handheld spectrum analysers and PXI test instruments.

A demonstration of a realtime spectrum analyzer is also given to show how t can capture a transient waveform. In this example a GSM mobile communications RF signal with its frame structure is captured and the real time feature of the analyzer used to enable it to be analysed.

In this way it can be seen that there are several aspects to choosing the correct type of spectrum analyzer for any given requirement.

The reason why I'm watching the above video is I'm trying to diagnose a problem, and being just a regular person who haven't got a clue how electricity works I'm totally out of my depth!
I've been putting up with a high frequency or some sort of grounding noise for years in my little council flat and starting to have a debilitating effect on me! I've tried turning the electric off at the mains and I'm still hearing it, the noise seems to be coming from where Virgin Media coaxial cable enters the communal flats and I've noticed on the outside of the building they seem to be using some sort of cheap galvanised Steel covering, which I assume is supposed to protect the rg59 coaxial cable. Over the years the noises seem to be getting worse I don't know why but it seems to be more audible every 4 to 6-weeks it's absolutely driving me crazy!!! I've called Virgin Media many times and on the last occasion all they did was sent out some installer with a multimeter! Which obviously didn't find any problems! I would really much appreciate any advice on how I Could approach this!
thank you for your considerations

could the company help victim of voice to skull (simply means people are attacked by RF wave ) to find out where the signal come from ? it have been decades RF wave crime attacking people, sending EEG to dysfunctional people's brain . who saw victims judge them by use their naked eyes, instead of use a Spectrum analyzer. all the world against victim use their bias.
