I have loved Tony Dekker's voice since I first heard the song, Silent Pictures Moving Films about 10 years ago. I must say I have enjoyed the earlier more stripped-down GLS albums more than the more recent albums from New Wild Everywhere to the present. However, their latest album, The Waves, The Wake is a much-appreciated improvement over their previous full-length album, A Forest of Arms of which I did not like very much. But, to have 1 bad album (in my opinion) out of 7 full-length albums is pretty impressive. I definitely recommend getting The Waves, The Lake album. It is a return back to their earlier recordings which I believe contain some of Tony's best songwriting and production.
