Sounds like big business still got their $500 billion handout and then some, while we get scraps

Here in New Zealand, I received $7000 cash lump sum, as did my wife. Not means tested.

So we both each got $585 a week for 12 weeks as a lump sum.

And our bank is giving us a 3 month holiday on paying our mortgage.

And our car loan bank has reduced our monthly payment by 75% for three months.

And the country is in complete lockdown, despite only having 205 cases and no deaths.

My representatives took my job, kept asking for my taxes and utilities, and continue to get paid while providing no monetary aid. All these old folks running the country are suddenly ready to do something— for themselves— when they realize they’re the only ones under threat from this. So much for my savings.

Canada is giving $900 every other week for 15 weeks for self employed/gig workers that dont qualify for Unemployment benefits. The US.. too bad...take out a loan

I dont need a payment. I am lucky enough to be working. But a one time payment to the people who really need it is an insult. Corporations are getting billions. Again Congress and trump have shown what really matters to them
