Alan discovers a saw concealed in an antique walking stick and proceeds to destroy his desk.

The fact that that saw is almost 200 years old and didn't snap when used on a type of wood it wasn't designed to saw along with Alans cackhanded technique really shows that before mass consumerism, things were built to last.


It wasn't, I'll buy a cane saw and in 5 years I'll get a new one, it's; "Nice to meet you, this is my cane saw. It's the same one my father used. I rather like it."
