Let me give you a real code:

If you pull out any item that requires aiming (like the grapple hook, bow, boomerang, hook-shot), walk forward a moment, pause the game, hold the C stick down just barely, then unpause

You will unlock…SUPER SPEED!!!


This can be repeated.




Also if you know how to do it, you can use this super speed to “swim” extremely fast and get across the world map in seconds.

Just don’t go too fast or you’ll despawn the water and void out. Too slow and you won’t make it to an island before you drown.




Be careful where you do it, because you build up speed infinitely, so if you’re on a wall or solid object too long, the game may crash.
(Speed actually slows down once entering water).

Otherwise if the game detects a path around it, it will basically launch you really far. On the islands this means getting launched into the ocean and most likely drowning.
