A conductors insulation degrades the day it is made. That is why onboard, we do insulation resistance test.

Hello! I am an engineer and the insulation problem is not clear to me. Your video is great and worth seeing! At the very beginning of the video (0:46), you measured current with the tester. Could you pls provide a drawing of this connection, pls? Also, your explanation of the motor is not clear to me as well. Why if T-face grounded it shows 0 Ohm insulation? I can understand that the current will flow with the easiest path from the R-face through the grounded U-winding to the ground (1:34). I was wondering if this current will back through the T-face ground and why? And why U-winding will be burned?
