Overarching Rule: GET A QUALITY SOURCE. Organically grown, no pesticides, herbicides if possible. We need to decrease toxic load as much as possible, to allow the liver to have low stress and functioning properly. All meat should be high quality source.
Carbohydrate Sources:
Fruits: Berries, Melon, Citrus, Bananas, Apples, Pineapples, Cherries
Potatoes and Sweet Potatoes
Squash
White Rice
Plaintains, Yucca
Sauerkraut, Pickles, other fermented foods
Carrots
Vegetables: Not necessary
Honey, cane sugar, agave
Protein Sources:
Grass Fed Beef
Free Range Chicken
Wild Salmon or other fish
Turkey, venison, bison or other game meat
Dairy: Organic, fermented/raw (for example, raw blue cheese)
Shellfish
Liver
Collagen
Bone Broth
Gelatin
Eggs
Fat Sources:
Coconut Oil
Grass Fed Butter (Kerrygold)
Olive Oil (and olives)
Ghee
MCT oil
Avocado Oil (and avocados)
Drinks:
Coffee
Mineral Water
Water
Pressed fruit juice
Alcohol: Straight Liquors, mixed drinks OK but only with real fruit juice, sparkling water, 3 drinks or less at a time. Wine if it is organic.
Recommended Supplementation:
Choline - up to 1g per day
Betaine HCl
Floracil50 - 1-2 capsules per day to promote good flora
Vitamin E
UMZU Supps Where Desired: Testro-X, Sensolin, Redwood, Cortigon
Other Recommendations:
Daily direct sunlight exposure
At least 30 minutes of deep breathing and/or meditation daily
Daily exercise of some kind (as little as a 30-60 minute walk to as much as 60+ minutes of weight training)
Use of a red light on key glands (thyroid, testes, etc) if desired
Avoid:
PUFAS (any of the following oils should be avoided completely: Canola, safflower, sunflower, omega 6, corn oil, soybean oil, peanut oil, cottonseed oil, rapeseed oil, vegetable oil of any variety, margarine, shortening/Crisco, anything fake/substitute)
Beans (highly goitrogenic)
Seeds (flax, chia, etc - estrogenic)
Nuts (macadamia OK, 2 brazil nuts per day OK)
Peanuts
Artificial Sweeteners
Food Additives
Soy, tofu
Food Coloring
Mint Tea (anti-androgen)
Oatmeal
NSAIDs, acetaminophen, cough syrups, other OTC drugs that stress the liver and suppress androgens and thyroid
Beer, chemical-laden alcohols
Iron-enriched flours, grain products
