I decided to film the northbound Silver Meteor just before going into work, and I got a surprise: the conductor knew who I was! You can hear him call out my YouTube name to me as the train passes, and my subsequent surprise. X3 I feel like I may know him from somewhere... I also conversed briefly with the engineer on the platform, before he boarded his locomotive, and he told me today's trailing engine, number 133, is apparently the last Amtrak P42DC without a bolted-on nose. I pan during the video so you can see this.
