Dream's face reveal screwed up because he made it more of a big deal than it needed it to be. He let other people on the internet see his face while we couldnt see it and he was building up hype that ultimately led nowhere.

The best thing about the Dream face reveal is that for some fucking reason he decided to pose on an angle like he's on a portrait painting from the renaissance era and it made it 10x funnier than it needed to be.

He made a big deal out of it for some reason. I think a good example of a decent "face reveal" is basically the entire banana bus team, y'all showed your faces, everyone who watches knows them, and you didn't make a big deal out of it at all.

Yeah in this day and age. If you can make it big and be behind the scenes than you are on the right track. Even my gaming friends wouldn't know much. H20 is a perfect example. Dream wanted a taste of the clout he had created. What I mean by that is he was so famous that he wanted to be recognized.
