Hoshimi Miyabi changed a little since we first saw her in 2022. Here's the comparison. It was fewer changes than expected though.

Honestly I like both the designs, the serious eyes make her cooler, while the more relaxed eyes probably reflect on her personality better

the beta miyabi does looks pretty good in certain angles but in some.... well.. its uh meh
I can see why some people liked the beta one more than the new one cause she looked more sharper
but idk the new one is just too good imo

2:26 If you pause it at the right frame, the 2022 beta looks like an actual fox as Foxfire than the Foxfire we see in 2024. Also 2024 has impact frames.

One weird thing about her is her 2D art, its still resemble her old design more since they havent changed it. The difference is very clear when you compare it to her new model (or to 1.4 Promo art)

The eyes are fine in cbt
The meme eye is from the release (pre version 1.3), not cbt
I have no idea why some comment mention her eye look bad in cbt, if anything, it look like her splash art more than current release

Her eye changes makes her look more mature (glad it got changed), and her new vfx matches her element (ice), and just looks better with it being updated.

I love the blue mist she leaves behind when she attacks in the current version, helps in making the attacks look like frost and not just blue slashes, goddamn can't wait to see how the future void hunters are gonna look.

People look at visuals, but the new sound design is what makes 80% of the job in my opinion!
