I agree with 1, 000 dollar emergency fund. Dave Ramsey says to put a 1000 Dallas in savings. Pay all your debts than save up 6 months an emergency fund. Good video Economic Ninja

I've been watching you for some time and have been wondering what your thoughts were on cash on hand, emergency funds, etc. This is super helpful as a base before moving into investments. Just curious, do you hold any theta at all for the long haul? I know you sold most if not all. Lastly, would you consider making a video like this for getting off the ground with gold/silver/crypto/real estate? Obviously your portfolio and the moves you make will be very different from someone who has just knocked out the emergency fund and is moving into the investing portion of the strategy, but getting ballpark figures would be super helpful.

Edit - maybe a video concept like - "If I were starting my investing journey in 2022.."

An emergency fund is critical. I was hospitalized for 3 weeks with covid. It’s taken almost 4 months to get back to work. If I hadn’t had my AFLAC disability insurance, I would have been screwed. As it was, even with it, I burned through the emergency fund I had established.
