"When We Walk with the Lord (Trust and Obey)" was written by the American hymn writer John H. Sammis in 1887.

The tune is 'Trust and Obey', written by prolific composer Daniel Brink Towner, after hearing a man at a revival meeting say, ""I am not quite sure-but I am going to trust, and I am going to obey." He wrote the words down and sent them to Rev Sammis and together the hymn took shape.

It is performed here by The Sensational Nightingales.
