Hot take: This trophy rework system change is mostly horrible

First things first, they said rank 50 is at 1000 trophies, and below 1000 trophies, you gain more than when you lose. This makes it feel like ranks are worthless and are just a waste of time pushing as its not challenging anymore. I do understand that the old trophy road system was very motivating as there wasn't anything special and at high trophies, you lose a lot more than you gain. But they could've just edited that. For example, making you gain 5 trophies and losing 10 at 1250 trophies. You might say "oh then you still lose twice as much as when you gain". Yes but the thing is winstreaks still exist, so as long as you have a winstreak you will most likely be fine. The only thing I like about this update is the rewards. Other than that, this game will be boring as pushing isn't as difficult already. I believe this change is overall only good for new or bad players however.

In conclusion, they could've just used the old ranking system and added the bling trophy thingy to it, and to also make you lose less trophies at higher trophies. I do also suppose a lot of other good players will feel like all the work they did was for nothing.
