I have a coworker, after i retired from the army my wife and i moved to tucson. It was kaos and she didnt make me a lunch and she had to work at her hospital while our belongings were still unpacked in our new home.
He saw me park at 711 to find some jerky and a quick big bite and water.
He said he and my other coworkers would share their mexican food with me.
Its 14 years later, and those three guys are uncles to my three children and welcome in my home as friends for life.

We worked with a guy for years, who's controlling wife litterly took all his check and left him with nearly nothing for lunch, we would bring him food, he would come to work with black eyes sometimes, then eventually she left him, and was trying to completley remove his children from his life, right in the middle of that process on her way to work one day she legit was ran over by a garbage truck, dead! True story!
