Hi Andrea. I studied my level 2 reiki just before lockdown so all my initial treatments on people have been via distance sessions. I think this has been very helpful, because initially it’s a difficult concept to get your head around. Initially I set out some clothes on my bed as a body outline. What I started to do later is using my own body as a vessel and representation for the person. I find this is really helpful because I feel the reiki sensations and I find my notes really align with the persons experiences too.

Confessions of a Reiki Master...I love it! I appreciate that you validate different techniques. Distance reiki has gotten me through the pandemic, offering it to friends and family.

It’s through this experience that reiki taught me that I don’t have to ask permission. I had a couple requests from loved ones for those who could not consent consciously. One was on a ventilator and one is cognitively disabled. So I altered what I say to, “This reiki is for XYZ, if they consent to receive it.” It’s how I remind myself to respect free will. It has worked perfectly.

I'm a newbie reiki master & Teacher attuned to all 3 levels 5 weeks ago. It was all done in like 10days with reiki master. I'm doing my 1st ever reiki session on a human in another country in a few hours and this video is a great help.. I'm so scared and nervous but this client wants and needs this healing session.
