For someone who visits vegas from the uk it’s pretty expensive so I stay here and I actually like it. I’m not a high maintenance person and rather spend money doing stuff rather than a really lavish hotel and I like the food court and the pool. I’ve stayed here 7 times going again next month. Never had a problem here

I was surprised AF staying there! That smell, yah that Excalibur smell, it's gone. The rooms and bathrooms? Real NICE. 💯 would stay there again. Oh, the TOK? Awesome! We go every time we're there. It's just wicked fun. You can't help playing along and being loud cuz you're part of the show.
Pro tip: *bring packets of salt and pepper. You get a game hen and potatoes. No seasonings. It's good, I like roasted game hen and potatoes anyways though. Is it a $1000 dinner? No, but i think it tastes good.
Pro tip 2: get seats in the "Dragon" section. You're welcome.

I love the Excalibur. Got married there years ago. It gets a bad rap, but it is fun and cheap.

I didn't stay here, went with one of the neighboring hotels. But I did walk through here and got some cool gothic type necklaces from the gift shop. I especially liked the one that hand your sign symbol as a pendant.

Excalibur is our choice for the my family every time. The pool is great and it's so cheap.

Thought about Excalibur and Luxor, but changed my mind. Booked with Treasure Island. Next year, its the cosmopolitan!

We were just at the Tournament of Kings and had a great time. The horses are beautiful and the performers draw in the audience. Food was decent.

5/10 Score. I don't hate this place, but it has a distinct smell to the establishment. The buffet was just ok, but not bad for lunch and I actually had a decent salad. One of my favorite sports is Casino exploration. I like to walk the Vegas casinos and try and find a cool refrigerator magnet in the gift shop. They tried to charge me $18.95 for a refrigerator magnet, and that triggered me!

I'm heading to stay there in early October on a trip. Hope it's still on the up and up.

Thanks for this. I’m considering if Las Vegas is worth visiting with my teen age daughters.

I end up at the Excalibur it seems. I never dislike it but they really juiced the arcade games after the renovation. Takes a lot more to win a lot less.

The customer service needs improvement but otherwise next to circus circus this is one of my favorite danks. Pros: the slots are very loose and the food court has decent options so you don’t have to go out on the strip if it’s too hot. Also the connection to New York New York and Excalibur is another pro. Cons: poor customer service along with a overpriced gift/convenience store is terrible. Escalators connecting properties is almost always not working. That’s terrible on a hot humid day in Vegas.

Meh, I personally disagree with you on this one, but respect your take.

I mean, I get WHY the Excalibur touches a soft spot among many. Part of it is people miss the era of heavy, fantastical theming in Vegas in favor of soulless minimalism as well as in long for a renaissance of themed experiences and entertainment, as well as preserving the remaining bastions of it. Excalibur checks off all those boxes as does its next-door neighbors Luxor and New York New York. And the other part of it is that Excalibur is a relic of a time when Las Vegas was going all-out in marketing to families. Most Vegas mega-resorts obviously aren't family-friendly at Excalibur and its neighbor New York New York it isn't lost on me why Excalibur is popular, even cherished, among plenty.

But with me, though, I just never feel comfortable there. The casino floor is quite ugly and dusty, the layout to me doesn't have good flow, the "Castle Walk Level" feels very slapdash and cheap in its theming like I'm walking between airport terminals rather than a resort, and its pool complex is one of my least favorite on the Strip. I also think the dining options are among the worst on the Strip being predominantly fast food and not even good fast food.

So yeah: below-average dining, below-average pool, below-average casino floor and below-average make for a below-average experience to me. I get its appeal, but still feel one can do MUCH better than this.

Talk about validating why Excalibur literally sucks and what kind of customers they attract with their cheap room rates.
Someone shot and killed their friend this week in a room at Excalibur.
Sorry, but you cannot ignore the fact that murdering someone on your property really highlights the lack of security and how unsafe that place is.

I'm sorry Jen, but you're totally wrong on this one. The rooms is still filthy, outdated and worn down... I hasn't been updated for a long time.
