Got mine in 2018, new and with the 60-month 0% interest financing. Just paid it off this summer.
I use firewood to heat, and the JD works for that. From a modified quick change front frame-ladder rack for my 28" ladder to forks, both from Titan Attachments, this makes firewood processing way less work than the old wheelbarrow. I modified several wood pallets with corner up-braces and top rails to hold stacked cut wood. With forks I can set the pallets into my sliding back door right next to my fireplace Vermont Castings wood stove insert. Then close door, minimal heat loss while bring in wood. Nice.
Stability issues with heavy loader wights solved with a rock box (3 point), Titan Attachments, full of rocks. 100% improvement on stability compared to no box as the 2025R tracks as narrow as my JD zero-turn.
Also, first year of owning tractor my septic backed up. I got the 2025R with the 120 loader/backhoe package. Dug up the old leach bed and bad news. All clogged with dirt and bio-mass. So I back filled and dug out around the tank which was a nicely installed plastic tank prob 1800 gal but no dist. box? Ended up installing dist. box and two 60' leach lines. I figure tractor saved me about $10K on that project alone.
Still use the 2025R year-round. Haven't shoveled snow since I got it.
Only repair so far was the orange park handle that broke and then the linkage for setting the park break came loose. $300 for that at a JD service center. Also got chains all around for about $700.
All in all, very happy with this tractor and it fits in my garage next to my car so never left outdoors.

Looking at a used 2025 with 135 hr. Its really temping! Asking 16k its a 2014 I think.

Hello I just purchased my first John Deere 2025r tractor it's a 2022 model
