Vega EVX officially unveiled at Geneva International Motor Show 2020, adding a new dimension to Sri Lankan history

A few hours ago it was reported that the pride of Sri Lanka was embodied in the international arena. Vega Innovations unveiled the new Vega EVX at the Geneva International Motor Show 2020 in Geneva, Switzerland yesterday.

However, due to the corona virus situation which is currently developing into a global hyperlink, the Geneva Motor Show did not go as usual, but it did not hinder the car enthusiasts who were present at the exhibition.

“We have been doing this for about six years with the aim of gaining entry into the EV super car market. This is a great achievement for us. We're launching the Vega EVX supercar today, even when the car was impacted by the impact of the Corona virus. We are very concerned about health and safety by partnering with the organizers of this event, ”said Beeshan Kulapala, Director and Co-Founder of Vega Innovations.

Produced by Vega Innovations, a subsidiary of CodeGen International (Pvt) Ltd., Vega EVX is the first electric supercar in Sri Lanka and South Asia. This is the first time a car made in Sri Lanka will be unveiled at an international car show. Therefore, Vega EVX is yet another historical landmark in Sri Lanka's history.

The Vega EVX Supercar delivers 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.1 seconds. An electric car, it is powerful enough to run up to 270 kilometers on a single charge. At present, it can run at a maximum speed of 260 km / h.
