China is witnessing its worst COVID outbreak in over two years. After Shanghai, Beijing is now under threat as the cases in the capital city have also started to increase. Beijing reported 22 new cases on Sunday, the outbreak along with the news of supply shortages in Shanghai has now triggered a massive panic amongst the citizens of Beijing

WION: Are the cases severe or are they mild? PCR tests are inaccurate; because it cannot differentiate between influenza and Covid and if set at a certain high decimal level, will read positive. Also, the CDC has acknowledged that a person can test positive 3 weeks after being fully recovered. So what is the use of massive testing?
