Pete 320 Heil Formula 7000

Well here we were on a typical Oregon day, rainy and cold. But we ended up finding this truck, the second oldest remaining truck in the fleet. The only older truck is the 310 which we never found.. I really wish we stayed for another 10 minutes of footage but for some reason we left after the final clip. I really like the sound of this truck, especially at high rpms driving between stops. The belted grippers combined with the wet carts made for a fun show. The belts usually give much better grip on the carts but the water just made them slippery so the carts slid all over lol and notice the clever resident that had a 30 gal for trash, but managed to get an extra bag of trash thrown out. I usually get annoyed by peoples attempts to cheat the system, but that was pretty clever I must say.
Thanks to the driver for allowing us to film
Filmed in Eugene right off of River Road. (dont bother googling it, every street in Eugene is River road pretty much) LOL Jared and Bryn will tell you all about our new found hatred for River Road.

Nice setup with the tag axle, just like the Condor. I love all these F7000 vids, keep them coming!

when theres an experienced operator behind the wheel, theyre definitely some of the more entertaining ASLs to watch. I'd enjoy seeing anything you can get from Johns, even that Python. I found that truck pretty interesting, especially with that style belted grippers it has

Lawn mower! Skill. I am supprised that more carts don't fall in

the rubber is there so that it can collect 30 gallon carts. These grippers were not designed to collect 30 gals. so the rubber belts was a simple way to make it capable of doing so since all houses here have 30 gallon trash carts standard.

damn those carts come close to falling in. The wheels are like saving its life!!!
they need bigger carts, or grippers that hug the cart better.

I believe I only have one more video of a F7000 and that is of the same Condor that Bryn filmed. If I was thinking straight the day I uploaded this, I would have added them into the same video as they were both short videos..

Cool video, could have titled it "7000 Attempting to Hopper 32gal Carts" lol! Awesome job! I still can't figure out how that resident tied that bag on so that it went IN the truck but didn't come OFF when he grabbed it. Besides, why didn't they just put it in the can to begin with?

Love the video. Didn't have a good grip at 1:00. Do you have a longer video of this truck.

Shows that the safest 35 to used with belted grips is SSI, on account of the long axles. I see Athens isn't the only company that knows how to collect bulk with the grips like that.

Yeah, these little 32 gallon carts are not really designed for an arm like this. How come everyone has such small carts, but big recycling carts? That was very cool how he picked up that lawn mower.
