Using the horn on a learner driver does not help anyone

Using the horn to make a learner driver more on quicker usually ends up with the learner either stalling because the driver who uses the hold if pressuring them to rush. Or doubting what they are going to do because they don't fully understand why the experienced driver is doing that.
So it is better to just let the learner try and more on with the help of their driving instructor.

It's so infuriating how some people forget they were once learners!! There was absolutely no need for that horn - learning to drive is stressful enough!

It was unfortunately obvious from their approach that the driver would be like this. I feel we should start issuing fines in these cases, as it’s a completely unnecessary and aggressive use of the horn. It’s bad enough when these self-obsessed people behave like this with qualified drivers, but to do this to a learner is unacceptable.

My first driving instructor used to stall the car from her side when people did this sort of thing, then yell abuse (she was Portuguese). Highly unprofessional and probably illegal but made me feel like an absolute Queen

Funny thing is the most likely outcome is you will distract them from something they already dont know how to do properly, so just end up doing it slower

I tell my learners its nice when people beep from behind and we have a laugh, I try and make the learner little comfortable and tell them just ignore those who beeps at learners actually are the nervous drivers on the road because they panic and that makes them nervous otherwise why would they beep !

well i was a learner i passed my test 2 weeks ago, well I'm still a learner but beeping drivers never affect me XD keep beeping i don't care I'm 6'5 guy and 100kg come and beep me XD

You know what these people who were born drivers need? They need to spend some minutes or even hours waiting the learners to restart the car because their aggressive behaviour made them forget what they were supposed to do!

His approach was too quick and there was no need for this kind of behavior . It could of startled the learner the best thing you can do if you see a learner driver is to hold back and give them plenty of time and many people forget people take longer when they are learnjng.
