Anatolian Eagle Exercise - 2023

2023 - Turkey’s Annual Air Exercise, the Anatolian Eagle. This year, the exercise was held at a Forward Operating Base in Konya, a major city in Central Turkey. Anatolian Eagle (AE) 2023 was conducted over a period of two weeks and had at least six Air Forces participating. These were Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. Additionally, Morocco, Libya and Georgia attended as observers. Meanwhile, NATO provided its E-3 AWACS for various missions as part of the exercise. The exercise had multiple live-fire missions as part of the training, and the participating Air Forces got the chance to increase their inter-operability.
