Note from an optician: Please never buy prescription glasses online. They are often not crafted properly for you as many of the measurements cannot be taken correctly through a screen. Further, they will not be adjusted to the form of your head and as such are prone to sliding, shifting, causing headaches and indents in you skin.

The worst part about this is some people have it ingrained in their minds that "higher price = better" given the same two products, a simple brand logo and a price change will have these people drolling over them. Luxottica also own all prescription glasses and worse every eye insurance company. Glasses actually only cost pennies to make, no more than $10. Yet I have to pay nearly $500 dollars for mine plus the insurance.
