I think a lot of the hardcore One Piece fans will tell you that while we know now there is a lot of endgame seeds placed in Skypiea, it has never been considered a top tier arc. It definitely drags and many agree that Alabasta is a better arc overall. With that said, once you get to the next main arc Water 7, that is when One Piece really hits stride and doesn’t slow down. Banger arcs from there on out, enjoy the ride I wish I could do it again for the first time 😭

Don’t worry about Skypiea. Lots of fans rank it low actually (although it’s one of my favs).

Skypiea has one of the greatest endings in the whole series and the lore explore in it is still important. Literally every arc since the timeskip has built upon something introduced in Skypiea.

Skypea is very mid indeed. It has a lot of whimsy and cool places, but the plot and battles are not the best.

I’m currently reading A Time of Dread and Assassin’s Apprentice. I’m really enjoying both.

Heeeck yes, ATLA definitely lived up to the hype for me as well!! Your gushing finally pushed me over the edge, and I can't thank you enough for getting me to finally put aside my biases and just watch it.
Also, I really appreciated your video about the myths and half-truths, there were definitely some that I remember hearing before coming to your channel, and I was pleasantly surprised how quickly those ideas went out the window when I found out how chill the vibe around here is. Cheers!

Oh I love Queen of Bedlam! I thought it was exactly on par with StN, and i didnt find it overly long. The human characters were amazing, and I thought he did a good job intertwining the Queen and the Masker.

John Dies at the End is banger and I'm very excited for you to read it.

The ending of LOST is not bad, it’s complex, and if you love modern TV you cannot discredit how LOST has influenced everyone and everything.

I’m excited about he release of Winds of Winter until I remember that when I finish it, no matter how it ends, the chances of actually seeing A Dream of Spring are slim to none

Also I’d like to predict at least some of that list… The First Law, The Faithful and The Fallen, The Bound and the Broken, Red Rising, and Memory, Sorrow and Thorn. If at least three of those, if not all of them, aren’t part of that list I will be shocked. 😂

I’m really enjoying Swan Song but it’s taking me a while so I needed a book to avoid burnout. Started Wayward Pines a week ago and already 20% into book 2. Quality stuff

My grandmother was called Beryl. I’m up to volume 36 of One Piece and I found Skypeia ok but not the best. It’s all fun though.

I’m currently reading The Shadow Rising by Robert Jordan.

I’m in wait mode for season 3 of Heartstopper which airs in October. So I’m not watching anything for now but my favourite band released a cover of Walking on Sunshine the other day and I’ve been listening to that non stop 😂 (the band is Ice Nine Kills and honestly I wasn’t expecting the band who love horror movies to do that song but it’s a great cover)

Love “John dies”. I accidentally read “if you’re reading this book you’re in the wrong universe” first without knowing it was part of the John dies in the end series. And I actually like that book better but probably just cause he was a more experienced writer by that time. But still thoroughly enjoyed “John dies at the end”. Fucking banana bat shit crazy
