If you are having trouble adding new layers, it's because Rush makes you add layers by dragging your content ABOVE the current layer. Most programs you drag below for changing layers, but for some bizarre reason, Rush makes you drag ABOVE your original layer to add more layers.

Very nice guide! Easy to follow too! I had to use something like this for a video for a school project and this definitely was a bit of a saving grace lol

Hey Claudio. Thanks alot, you're instructions were easy to follow. Also, I chose your video simply because of its length shown in the thumbnail. I've just subscribed. 😊

I didn't find this real helpful, especially since you never showed the part where you can put one media layer on top of another. Rush will always put my images/movs in layer 1, I can't ever separate them. It's only in audio that I can separate by layers, so for me, you skipped the most crucial step.

Hiya, Claudio! How do you make a 2 split screen (side by side) with a graphic overlay?

I had been using premiere elements on my PC but since getting a Mac I'm trying rush (because elements is ridiculous and doesn't give you a windows and Mac version when you download from adobe). In elements I could "split" overlaid clips at the same time if I had them both selected. I can't seem to be able to do this with rush. Is there another to cut out my "um"s and pauses without desyncing my overlay video?

Great stuff! Any tips on data management? I’m using an iPad and a GoPro and they are sucking up so much data. Thanks! Should I try storing everything on dropbox?

Why couldn't you just mute the layer with the screen capture?
