So excited to share with everyone RainbowYOUTH's first national ad campaign. We chose to address something small that contributes to much larger issues - homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.

We're incredibly grateful to the teams at the MediaWorks Foundation, Y&R NZ and Eight for generously volunteering their creativity and resources to this awesome project.

So I quoted this ad, 'Nah mate, two men loving each other, that's gay'
Other Guy 'Yeah, you're right.' thinks for a second. 'I don't think there are ANY gays in town'
Me ... 'Well, you've made a start at least'

As someone who is in school I can confirm that this ad has not worked at all and has likely achieved the opposite of its goal

They forced us to watch this ad to us at assembly and every day for a week after that whenever something bad would happen to me or one of my mates we’d go “aw gay”
So yeah really don’t think it worked
