South Carolina is actually flying the wrong flag. To all those people who say its there heritage the flag that we see today on bumper stickers or on the flag pole was actually not the official flag of CSA.

General Robert E. Lee’s Army of Northern Virginia used it as their battle flag—the flag that represented their fight but was never the official flag




It was never actually the official flag for the Confederate States of America.
The flag celebrated by Dylann Roof and flown controversially atop the South Carolina capital building was actually rejected as the CSA national flag in 1861.  IT WAS REJECTED!!

I am not a bigot. I'm not even from the South. The Civil War was about state rights, not slavery. Do your own research.
