Gundam 00 is way ahead of it's time. It's animation is top notch. Imagine if this got released in 2023.

I’m forever in love with how clean and sparkly the gn drive and Gundam system sounds are. Combined with the swiftness of setusna’s piloting, it really feels like watching a fairy. A fairy that can kick your ass and shred war machines to bits in seconds.

What I loved about this particular Gundam series is that it didn't have whiny kids. The atmosphere was more relatable, in regards to the geopolitical climate. The battles and music were more intense and you actually saw the characters age and mature throughout the run of the series. Hands down my favorite Gundam anime.

5:33 I love how most pilots in gundam usually deal with funnels/bits through precision shooting, but here Setsuna just straight up nukes the whole bunch at the same time.

The speed and intensity 00 has is pretty tough to beat. It gave the show a unique feel. IBO and the other Gundam shows seem to have a different sort that's all their own.

I like how there's weight in all of the attacks contributed by the sfx, it contributed a lot. The beam spams from Reborns Cannon/Gundam are dope enough that you can tell that it is strong, fast, and definitely definitely made to counter 00. The best part, I don't remember any of these scenes being this good, and it is refreshing looking back.

My favourite aspect of this series is how the 00 piloted by Setsuna is strong, yet doesn't come out shining and unscathed in every fight. The struggle is real, and the animation studio did a great job portraying so.

00 Raiser is my favorite MS all time.
The drawback it has to the series though is that it becomes too powerful, the other 3 pilots become kind of trivial, unlike S1 where all 4 are important.
