Just to ask a random question, regarding ionic, instead of creating a new class called *bottom* for the input to be at the bottom, can we not use * <ion-footer> * instead ? Just a random thought as I tried it and it was rather easier to do.

Something like the following as it worked for me with ease so far, it may change with future iterations:
